He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Raymond Burford. Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Janice R. Burford (nee Eberlin); children, Samuel B. (Crystal) Elam, Jennifer C. Witherell, Shannon N. Burford, Ashley F. Burford; grandsons, Michael, William, Alexander, Gryphon, Kurtis and Kyle; sister, Jean (Bob) Gibson; and a host of other family members and friends.
