Earth friendly life celebrations

Earth Day is one of those Holidays that is not always celebrated. However, it’s easier than you think and what better way to celebrate the earth than being one with it and doing things that will nourish it? Below we listed activities that you can do alone or with others. All of the activities are kid friendly, too!

Plant a tree in your yard. April is the perfect time to start planting your garden outside. Many find that buying a tree that has already grown a little is easier to care for and grow. You can buy them from most hardware stores. Lastly, you’ll want to think about the type of tree that grows best in your area. For example, oranges and circus fruits grow very well in places like Florida and California, but not so much in places like Kansas.

Start an herb garden indoors. Herb gardens are the perfect way to have access to fresh herbs at any time. They are fairly low maintenance as they only require to be sat in front of a window with lots of sunlight and water.

In most places, flowers are blooming up left and right in late April. So take advantage and have a photoshoot. All of the bright colors and beautiful scenery will surely make your social media feed come to life.

Whichever way you chose to celebrate Earth Day do so in a way that will leave a positive impact on the earth. There’s only one earth, and we have to take care of is so it can sustain life for the years to come.
